9 months!

The boys are now 9 months old and I can't believe how fast time has flown by. The first 6 months were so crazy busy that I barely remember them. I see pictures of when they were teeny tiny and I can't even believe that they were that small once. It makes me sad that I wasn't able to enjoy those first few months with them because it was so busy and it took everything just to survive. Luckily things have started to get a little easier. The boys are now on nap schedules, eating schedules and bedtime schedules. It makes my life easier to do everything for all of them at once (like feeding them all at the same time) and saves a lot of time during the day. Now I have extra time for things like laundry, dishes and general cleaning. If it's a good day I can even get the bathrooms cleaned :) I try to get all chores done while they are taking their naps so that I have time when they are up to possibly play with them. It's still hard to get in just that play time, between feeding, changing, napping and then doing it all over again. Thankfully the boys can now pretty much entertain themselves and don't mind being left on the floor to explore. Everett and Emerson are masters at rolling wherever they want and they both have been getting up on their knees. Emmett is behind them a couple weeks and has just begun to start rolling around the house. It's going to be interesting when all three babies are crawling.

We took the boys to their 9 month well checkup and luckily they didn't have to have shots this time. Those shots really mess them up for a couple of days and it's very stressful around here. Anyway they got weighed and measured and here is the new stats:

Everett 18lbs 11 oz, 29 1/4" tall (Birth 5lbs 4oz, 18 1/4")
Emmett 20lbs 15 1/2oz, 29" tall (Birth 4lbs 13oz, 17 1/4")
Emerson 20lb 1 1/2oz, 28 1/4" tall (Birth 4lbs 6oz, 17")

It's hard to believe that they were once little itty bitty babies, since they are all huge now. Emmett and Emerson are in the 50th percentile on the regular baby chart for weight. I'm so glad that they do not have any health issues from being born 6 1/2 weeks early.
