Babies are here

This afternoon at 2:53, 2:54, and 2:55 Everett, Emmett, and Emerson Tew came into this world. After waiting all morning and part of the afternoon we finally made it into the operating room. It was a fight to see who would come out first. The doctor was trying to pull out Emmett but Everett wouldn't have it and had to come out first.

Everett Maxwell (named after Gram, her middle name was Maxine) weighed 5 lbs 4 oz and was 18 1/4 inches long. Emmett Ray (named after Angela's Uncle Ray) was 4 lbs 13 oz and 17 1/4 inches long. Emerson David (Angelas Dad's middle name) was 4 lbs 6 oz and 17 inches long. Thats 14 lbs and 7 oz of babies she was carrying.

Emmett is doing great. Emerson and Everett are having a little diffuculty with breathing and hopefully come off the CPAP machine in the morning.

Mom is recovering nicely, she just wants to go to the NICU to see the babies but has to wait until tomorrow.
