19 Weeks

I'm now 19 weeks along but I feel like I'm nine months and look like it too. It's amazing how big I am already.

19 Weeks 1

We went for our diagnostic ultrasound this week and they spent a lot of time looking at the babies. They are getting big and squished together so its getting harder to separate all the parts in there. The sonographer was able to get quite a few cute photos!

All babies are growing good and getting bigger every week. Baby A is 11 oz, Baby C is 10 oz and Baby B is 9 oz. They did find a small problem with Baby B's umbilical cord. I guess little Baby B has what is called a two vein umbilical cord. This means that instead of the normal 2 veins and artery in the cord there is only one vein and artery. The doctor said that this means that the baby could have trouble growing, however he is growing normally right now and is within the normal range of where he should be at this time. We will just have to watch him a little closer and make sure that he keeps growing at a normal rate. It could also mean that the baby has a defect, although the doctor did not see any other problems so he does not believe that is the case, so that's not something that we are going to worry about or test further for.
