Dallas zoo

I got a membership to the Dallas zoo and have been quite a few times. It's a fun place for the kids and gets us out of the house for awhile. We took Dad a couple of weeks ago and the babies got to ride the carousel for the first time.
They didn't know what was going on and cried most of the time, but I'm sure it won't be long until we can't get them off of it

Of course Britton had a blast

It was nice to go with Chris because then Britton got to do some things he wanted to do like sit on the elephant

Britton also wanted to ride the birds nest on the carousel so he could spin in a circle while going in a circle. Just like his mom when I was a kid

We also took them on the Monorail so we could see some of the other animals that we can't see when it's just me. I think their favorite part was getting to run up the ramp to the top

Everett just wanted to lick the bar....YUCK!!!


They did think it was pretty cool to sit up and see all the animals
Britton is our navigator at the zoo and he checks the map and tells us where we need to go

The first time that we went to the zoo with our friends Mandy and Nola we got to feed the giraffes which was really cool. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to feed them since

I held the babies so they could feed the giraffes too! Everett was the only one who didn't really enjoy it. He doesn't seem to like animals that are bigger than him





The Children's zoo has a river in it that the kids can play in. Of course Britton was right in there


We love the zoo and try to visit often. There will plenty more zoo pictures in the years to come!
