4 month appointment

The boys had their 4 month appointment today and are doing really well. Everett is 13lbs 2 1/2 oz and 24 inches long, Emerson is 13lbs 1oz and 23 3/4 inches long and Emmett weighed in at a whopping 14lbs 12 1/2oz and is 23 3/4 inches long. That's right Emmett almost has 2lbs on his brothers. You would never guess that he was only 4lbs 13oz when he was born 4 months ago. And forget the preemie growth chart Emmett is in the 50th percentile on the REGULAR growth chart. GO CHUNK!!!! Everett and Emerson are both also on the regular chart but they are something like the 10th percentile....so doing good, just not as fat as Emmett. Luckily even though Emmett and Emerson both have flat heads the doctor wasn't too concerned and they will not have to have helmets. That is a huge relief as I thought for sure their heads were super flat. All three are doing what they are supposed to be doing in terms of development and we are not worried about anything at this time. The are progressing just like normal newborns and don't seem to have any setbacks due to their prematurity, thank goodness. They had their 4 month shots today so tonight and tomorrow should be a load of fun with three babies and their reactions to shots. I can't wait for the crankiness to begin. The doctor did not have the RSV shot today, so they will call and we will have to go back for that :( They have also not received the H1N1 vaccine that the doctor wants Chris, Mycayla, Britton and myself to get....so we will just have to wait on that and be super careful. Other than that everything looks great!!!!
