27 weeks

Friday May 15th I was 27 weeks and had my 3 hour glucose and doctor's appointment. I couldn't eat anything prior to my glucose test and it took the guy forever to draw my blood for my fasting sugar level. He tried in both arms and then decided to do a finger stick thank goodness. Then I had to drink the yucky syrup stuff, which made me feel really sick. I then had to give blood every hour for 3 hours afterwards. It was very boring waiting all that time in between my blood draws.
My doctor's appointment went well. My blood pressure was a little high again, which is probably going to cause me problems at some point I'm sure. I'm just waiting for it to happen. They took it 3 times and the last time it was average for me, so the doctor went with it. They did an ultrasound to check on the babies and they are doing good. We only do a growth scan every 3 weeks or so, so they didn't check to see how big they were this time. They also checked my cervix which is still holding strong at 4.5. It is one of the most important things that my cervix is not shrinking at this point and I'm really thankful for that. The doctor told me that most triplet mom's are in the hospital for the long run already at this point, so I'm very thankful that I don't have to live there right now.
I didn't gain any weight this week, so I'm wondering if it now has decided to slow down. I would prefer to not put too much more weight on and that the babies keep growing good without me having to gain very much more.
And here is the most anticipated belly pictures. I am 27 weeks now and my belly is hugh. I'm not sure how much bigger it will get. I measured it around and it is 56 1/2 inches!!
